In spite of the complex design, with 20 elements in 16 groups, the construction of this lens is enhanced, making it more robust. The Nano Crystal anti-reflection coating reduces ghosting and flare by using special ED glass. The lens is also fully weatherproof and sealed against moisture and dust. Thanks to the fluorine coating on the front and rear lens elements, this lens is also water, dust and dirt proof.
