Barr & Stroud Sahara 10x42 FMC
The Barr & Stroud binoculars from the Sahara series have a sturdy, robust, tough rubber-coated body with brilliant BAK-4 optics inside. The optics are fully multi coated, making the light transmission and brilliance remarkable. All models are nitrogen gas-filled, making them waterproof for three minutes at a depth of 1.5 metres. They feature a solid piece of engineering that is immediately noticeable when you turn the smooth-running focusing wheel. For the rather harsh conditions of our rainy climate, it is a perfect travel partner and will therefore perform optimally year after year. With twist-up eyecups, the binoculars are also good for spectacle wearers. The viewer has a tripod connection in the front centre of the bridge, allowing it to be placed on any camera tripod using a tripod adapter.
