The Leofoto Poseidon LP-324C + ball head LH-40 is a carbon tripod that is easy to use for coastal or riverbed location work. The LP-324C has four leg sections and reaches a maximum working height of 139.5 cm. In contrast, the minimum working height of this tripod is just 16 cm, which is perfect for low ground level work. Despite the tripod only weighing 1.95 kilo, it has a load capacity of 12 kilograms. The LP-324C tripod includes an LH-40 ball head and several handy accessories.
The LP-324C protects against corrosion so you can easily use it in wet conditions.The parts of the tripod legs and the rubber feet which are frequently in contact with water are made of titanium. By keeping waer, sand and grit from the locking system, the tripod always remains in top condition and this makes the tripod low maintenance. On the side of the tripod platform is a ¼-inch thread to allow the tripod to be expanded with a magic arm or other accessory. In addition, under the tripod platform is a 3/8-inch for placing the snap hook. In this way, you can weigh down the tripod.
The LH-40 ball head is 360-degree rotatable, tiltable from portrait to landscape position, and has a double panning function. It is also equipped with a spirit level and a universal 3/8” tripod screw to which you can attach almost any camera. The friction is adjustable via a handy rotary knob, which provides precise adjustment. The ball head has a diameter of 40 mm and a panning base of 57 mm. The height is 87 mm. This ball head comes with an QP-70 quick release plate and is Arca-Swiss Compatible. The ball head can carry a whopping 20 kilos and weighs 496 grams on its own.
With the universal QP-70 Arca-Swiss quick release plate, you easily attach the camera to the Leofoto LH-40 ball head. You unscrew the clamp, slide the 70 mm long quick-release plate into the holder and screw the clamp back on. Of course, this quick-release plate can also be exchanged with another universal Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release plate. The camera can also be attached to this ball head with a Leofoto L-plate.
