The Olympus OM-D E-M1X Body in black is focused on reliability, speed and versatility and is a Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera that offers a wide range of photo and video capabilities to meet the needs of the professional photographer. With a high-resolution 20.4MP Live MOS sensor and dual TruePic VIII image processors, the E-M1X is characterized by its fast continuous shooting, up to 60 fps with an electronic shutter and 15 fps with a mechanical shutter, as well as DCI and UHD 4K video recording. The sensor and processors also offer a sensitivity range up to ISO25.600, while an advanced 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization system compensates for camera shake up to 7.5 stops for sharper hand-held shots. The design of the sensor contains 121 on-chip phase detection points, all of which are cross-type, along with 121 contrast detection areas for fast and accurate focus and subject tracking.

The E-M1X further distinguishes itself, and is also the first Micro Four Thirds camera with an integrated vertical handle for improved ergonomics and handling, regardless of shooting in a horizontal or vertical direction. With this handle you can use two batteries at the same time for longer recording sessions. The durable magnesium alloy body is further characterized by its comprehensive weathering protection for working in harsh climates, and a 2.26m-point, 0.83x magnification electronic viewfinder as well as a 3.0inch 1,037 m-point variangle LCD touchscreen are available for intuitive operation and work from different angles. In addition, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth expand the possibilities for remote sharing and photography. There are also two SD card slots and a USB 3.0 Type-C port.

A high resolution 20.4MP Live MOS sensor and dual TruePic VIII image processors work together to provide you with fast recording performance, a wider sensitivity range to ISO 25600 and versatile 4K video recording capabilities. It is ideal for sports and nature photography. The sensor and processor combination offers a continuous recording speed at full resolution of 15 fps for up to 103 consecutive raw files when working with the mechanical shutter. When shooting with the silent electronic shutter, this recording speed can be increased to 60 fps with single AF for up to 49 consecutive raw frames or 18 fps shooting with continuous AF for up to 74 consecutive raw images.

The sensor and processor also support recording both DCI (4096 x 2160) and UHD (3840 x 2160) 4K films. When you work in DCI, a real frame rate of 24.00 fps is used, along with IPB compression and a bit rate of 237 Mb/s, and UHD 4K is available in frame rates up to 30p and a bit rate of 102 Mb/s. Full HD 1080p and HD 720p recording is also supported. Audio recording is possible with the built-in stereo microphone and both an external microphone connection and a headphone connection are available for improved audio recording and monitoring.
