The Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 is a top model of the Lumix G cameras, with the best image quality to date in combination with perfect mobility and ultra-fast recordings. This makes this mirrorless camera the perfect choice for nature and action photography. The G9 features a 20.3-megapixel Digital Live MOS sensor without low-pass filter which improves resolution, colour gradations and colour rendering. Using the advanced Multipixel Luminance Generation and Intelligent Detail Processing features, the Venus Engine processor produces highly accurate and impressively natural images. In addition, the new High Resolution mode lets you take stunning 80-megapixel (10368x7776) equivalent images in JPEG and RAW format by merging eight consecutive shots as the sensor moves. Thanks to a special AR coating on the sensor, ghosting and flaring are reduced, ideal for shooting in tricky conditions with backlighting, for example.

The Body IS (Image Stabiliser) of the Lumix G9 has been further improved thanks to a new algorithm to enable stable shots even when shooting handheld, even when shooting with a slower shutter speed. It is now possible to shoot at shutter speeds up to 6.5 stops slower with the same sharp results. The G9 also features the world's fastest focusing speed of just 0.04 seconds and fast AF tracking performance that makes it easy to keep track of your subject. For accurate focusing, the number of focus areas has been increased from 49 to 225. You can create a group from these 225 points and then move or resize it, depending on the desired composition. An industry-leading frame rate of 20fps is possible at full resolution with continuous autofocus (AF-C), when you focus on the first frame (AF-S) you benefit from an impressive burst rate of 60fps. In addition, the G9 has a blackout-free Live View Finder, making it the best mirrorless camera for capturing moving subjects in focus.

The Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 is equipped with a status LCD screen on top that allows you to view the settings at a glance and quickly change the settings using the function lever (Fn). Furthermore, the camera is equipped with a joystick and very conveniently positioned rotary knobs. With an all-magnesium alloy cast front and rear frame, this camera is prepared for all weather conditions. It is splash- and dustproof and frost-resistant down to -10 degrees Celsius. The two SD memory card slots are both compatible with the fast UHS-II format and can be used as desired; as additional storage, as a backup slot or for different types of media. You can use the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functionality to quickly share your captured images.

The Panasonic MFT 8-18mm F/2.8-4.0 Leica DG Vario Elmarit ASPH is a versatile wide-angle lens that offers excellent features for both photo and video shooting. This lens, with an equivalent focal length of 16-36mm, is the second in the Leica DG Vario-Elmarit F/2.8-4.0 series and, thanks to its versatility, is suitable for a variety of everyday situations. From dynamic landscapes to high-speed shots, this lens offers very fast performance. The optical construction consists of 15 lens elements in 10 groups, including one aspherical ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lens, three aspherical lenses, two ED lenses and one UHR (Ultra High Refractive Index) lens. The use of these lenses minimises spherical distortion and chromatic aberration and ensures high resolution and sharp contrast from centre to edges.

The 8-18mm F/2.8-4.0 Leica DG Vario Elmarit ASPH also features Panasonic's Nano Surface Coating technology to prevent ghosting and lens flare. This lens has a robust and dust- and splashproof design and is even freezeproof to -10 degrees Celsius to withstand use in harsh conditions. The possibility of high-quality video recording is one of the advantages of this lens in this regard.
