The Panasonic Lumix DC-S1 is a full-frame system camera with a 24.2 megapixel sensor and an L-mount that was developed in collaboration with Leica. The camera has a CMOS sensor with a wide dynamic range. The Venus Engine-Processor from Panasonic delivers a maximum ISO value of up to 51,200. With the built-in 5-axis image stabilizer, you always get stable videos and you hardly suffer from camera shake. The advanced I.S. Status Scope even finds out the cause of camera shake and displays it graphically.

High Resolution Mode
With the High Resolution mode, the camera takes 8 pictures in a row, while the sensor moves half a pixel with each picture. These photos are then processed into one image, so that you get razor-sharp details visible that would otherwise not be visible. This mode delivers photos with a resolution of a staggering 96 megapixels. The RAW file is then 12,000 x 8,000 pixels. This mode is, for example, very suitable for landscape photos, which are reproduced very faithfully thanks to the details. It also makes it possible to suppress motion blur in situations with moving subjects.

Autofocus
The focusing system of the Lumix DC-S1 is very fast thanks to the contrast detection and DFD technology in the camera. In combination with the new series of Lumix-S lenses, the camera can focus within 0.08 seconds! The AF-tracking mode makes use of an advanced Artificial Intelligence technology that recognizes people and animals. The system focuses and tracks the subject and can even anticipate movement patterns. In portraits, the camera itself focuses on the eyes thanks to the pupil detection.

Video
The Panasonic Lumix DC-S1 with a 4K 60p mode is very suitable for film makers. With the industry standard gamma curves Cinelike D/V and Like709, you can record beautiful professional movies. The 60p mode has time limitations, but the 4k 30P and Full HD recordings can be recorded without a time limit.

EVF and LCD screen
The camera features an OLED electronic viewfinder with 5.76 million pixels. The 3.2" LCD touchscreen is both swivel and tiltable, making it easy to shoot from any angle. With Night Mode, Live View Boost and illuminated buttons, you can also work in the dark. The camera is completely waterproof and dustproof, so you can keep shooting in bad weather without any problems and thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi and NFC technology, you can easily connect to smart devices for quick sharing of your images.

HLG Mode
The new HLG Photo mode takes photos with a wider dynamic range, allowing both light and dark tones to be reproduced well. As a result, the colour rendering of the photo corresponds very closely to the human eye.

The Panasonic Lumix S Pro 70-200mm F/4.0 L-mount is a high-resolution telephoto zoom lens with a high contrast in zoom range. The lens is suitable for many situations, from sports shots to portraits. To minimize chromatic aberration and maximize sharpness, one aspherical lens and three extra-low dispersion lenses are used. The lens produces beautiful bokeh effects and minimal vignetting.
