Peli Pick 'N' Pluck foam

By measuring your equipment on the Peli Pick 'N' Pluck foam you simply adjust the interior of the Peli 1650 as you please. The two foam layers consist of pre-cut pieces so you can easily remove the excess foam. The content remains in its place at the same time, and gets extra protection. The Pelicase 1650 meets the highest quality standards and has been equipped with a neoprene O-ring to make it dustproof and waterproof. Moreover, the case floats. The 1650 is resistant to pressure by the use of a special, automatic pressure equalization valve that locks out moisture and dust, but allows air to circulate freely. The convenient two latches allow you to simply open the Peli case and you can lift the case safe and secure with the large, rubber-coated, foldable handles on the sides.

Flexible and shock resistant material

A Peli case is rock solid. The cases are made of polypropylene copolymer and this material is very strong and flexible and has an extreme impact resistance. The 5,3mm thick wall construction has a significantly higher strength / weight ratio than conventional injection molding systems whereby a Peli case is not only strong but also relatively light. The distinctive double ribs on the surface of the case provide additional protection against impact while protecting the hinges and latches. Stainless steel is used for the ball bearings of the wheels, the hinges, locks and the handles to prevent corrosion, and the padlock protectors are reinforced with stainless steel as well. This means extra strength and security against cutting and theft.
