Limited lens series for clear and sharper images

The design of this lens is a legacy of the Limited Lens series. This lens has an optical system that naturally reflects depth and at the same time minimizes the distortion around the edges of the whole zoom area. Photographers can capture the image right from the start, adding softer light by a adding a larger diaphragm, and increasing the sharpness by adding a smaller diaphragm. The lens cylinder, hood and lens cap are made from high quality aluminum, they are textured, and formed by hand to fit perfectly. The zoom ring, which is in the middle of the lens cylinder, has a number of notches which makes using the zoom even easier.

High Quality Optical Technology

The lens is treated with a Pentax developed  HD coating, a high quality coating with multiple layers. This reduces reflection in the visible light spectrum over fifty percent more effectively than traditional multi layered coatings.
