The Pentax K-3 Mark III Body Silver is a compact, ergonomic DSLR camera for keen photographers. The camera offers an outstanding photographic experience and features a range of improved technological enhancements. The image quality is clear and sharp thanks to the 25.7 megapixel BSI sensor in combination with the Imaging Engine and accelerator.Furthermore, noise is kept to a minimum, even in the low or super high range. The camera offers a high light sensitivity of ISO 1,600,000. The body of the camera has a K bayonet mount. In addition to taking photos, you can also make videos in 4K resolution. The camera also has an integrated camera image and video editing, so you can edit your photos and videos yourself. With the Real-Time Scene Analysis system, the camera instantly detects the subject's face and eyes. This system optimises the exposure settings and improves the accuracy of the autofocus. Thanks to the large and bright prism viewfinder, you get a 100% field of view and approx. 1.05x magnification. Compared to the viewfinder of the Pentax K-3 II, the Pentax K-3 Mark III has an improved brightness of almost 10 percent. The Natural Bright Matte III focusing screen also ensures lifelike reproduction of the bokeh effect. 

Movement correction

Other features include the fast SAFOX 13 autofocus system, a Shake Reduction (IBIS) function integrated into the body. The built-in SR II motion compensation mechanism ensures sharp photos even in conditions prone to motion blur. In addition, the camera offers an on/off switch for the motion correction function. Moving picture elements are thus detected during continuous shooting and negative effects are minimised during the recording process. The camera also has an AA filter simulator. This minimises moiré and false colours to the same level as an optical AA filter. To create an optimal filter effect, use the ON/OFF switch and level setting. Another feature of this camera is its built-in sensor shift and automatic horizon correction. An oblique camera position up to an angle of view of 2° automatically corrects the sensor. Furthermore, this camera has a SAFOX 12 autofocus system with 101 focus sensors for razor-sharp focus of a subject. In addition, the camera has a dust removal feature, so the camera's sensor remains dust-free thanks to ultrasonic vibrations. 

LCD Display

The Pentax K-3 Mark III has a 3.2 inch touchscreen LCD screen with high image quality and approximately 1,620,000 pixels. Because the viewfinder eyepiece protrudes from the LCD screen, your face does not come into contact with the housing of the camera. The eye sensor under the eyepiece also ensures that the monitor is switched off, so that the lighting doesn't affect your view during shooting.

Design and connectivity

The camera has a maximum frame rate of up to 12 frames per second. The camera also features user-friendly recording functions for more efficient recording and greater ease of use. The classic DSLR design is made of very strong aluminium and the seals provide stability. In addition, the camera is weather resistant. The Pentax K-3 Mark III works on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. You can connect the camera to mobile devices, such as Smartphones and tablets. With the free Image Sync app you can display Live View images on your screen and easily transfer captured images to your phone. From there you can share your images directly on social media. You can charge the camera via a USB Type-C connection.
