The impressive ISO range of 100-51200 (expandable to 50-204800) also makes the A7 mark III excellent for use in lower-light situations. The high-quality XGA OLED Tru-Finder viewfinder keeps a close eye on your subject and reproduces even the smallest details true to life. Moreover, you can choose from 'High' or 'Standard' image quality for both the viewfinder and the camera's monitor.

In addition to taking photos, the Sony A7 mark III body is also perfect for shooting professional videos. The camera does this in 4K quality across the full-frame sensor. The new HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) image profile supports an HDR workflow, allowing you to play back your images in lifelike quality on HDR-compatible TVs. For more colour gradation, you can use the S-Log2 and S-Log3 function. Prefer shooting in Full HD quality? Then you're guaranteed 120fps at up to 100 Mbps. Ideal when you want to edit the footage and, for example, incorporate slow motion images into your videos.

Sony Shotgun Microphone (ECMB1M.SYU)

The Sony ECM-B1M is an ultra-compact camera-mounted digital shotgun microphone designed for mobile videographers working with Sony cameras equipped with the multi-interface shoe. Released alongside the a7R IV, which benefits from its built-in digital audio interface, the ECM-B1M can produce its best quality by sending a digital audio stream directly to the camera via the multi-interface shoe. Other Sony cameras with the standard Multi-interface shoe can still use the microphone as there is a selectable digital/analogue output.

The ECM-B1M is equipped with eight high-quality microcapsules and advanced digital signal processing, which offers three selectable aiming patterns for a wide range of shooting and recording situations. Plug-and-play operation makes the microphone easy to use. You can immediately start recording your YouTube videos, Facebook Live streams and interviews at home, in the studio or on the road.
