With 11 rounded aperture blades, this lens offers a beautiful bokeh. It has a light and compact design and is therefore ideal to take with you on the go. The lightweight design has been achieved thanks to a new DDSSM (Direct Drive SSM). This additionally provides three times as much thrust, offering fast response time and precise, quiet focus when shooting both stills and video. With a minimum focusing distance of 24cm, this lens is also suitable for close-ups with a soft bokeh.
