Types of stargazers
Stargazers that use a lens are called refractor telescopes. These are basically binoculars with a very high magnification factor. If a stargazer uses a mirror, it is called a mirror telescope. You can use it to observe faraway celestial bodies. Finally, there are catadioptric telescopes, that use both a lens and a mirror. This allows an extremely large magnification, making them the perfect stargazer for deep sky astronomy.
