The Western Digital My Cloud Pro PR4100 NAS 24TB is equipped with four 6TB hard drives and a video transcoding engine to deliver both 4K media content and files to network devices. The My Cloud PR4100 offers you a total storage pool of 24TB and a variety of downloadable apps to create a streaming HD media server with Plex, edit content and share with cloud services and set up a surveillance system with Milestone Arcus. WD has equipped this NAS server with a 1.6 GHz quad-core Intel Pentium N3710 processor, along with 4 GB DDR3L RAM to manage your data and configure the drives in a RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 or JBOD array. With access to four disks, you can set them up in RAID 5 or 10, improving disk performance while providing redundancy of your data.
This NAS server is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports and dual power ports for continuous access to your files, photos and other content. Other striking ports included with the My Cloud PR4100 are three USB 3.0 ports that allow you to use devices or back up data from external storage devices. Apart from ports, it comes with SmartWare Pro software and supports Time Machine for a quick and effective solution to create a continuous, automatic backup system. In addition, password protection and AES 256-bit volume encryption are provided to secure sensitive files.
