Sony A7S series

The Sony A7S series includes the Sony A7S ll and the Sony A7S lll. These two mirrorless cameras are specially designed for filmmakers and photographers who also work in low-light conditions. This series focuses on ISO sensitivity. It goes all the way up to 409,600 with very little noise in your photos.

The Sony A7S features many professional video functions, such as XAVC S, Full HD recording at 50 Mbps, timecode and optional XLR audio inputs. The A7S Mark ll creates even more creative freedom. The camera records detailed 4K films in full frame format, resulting in less distortion, irregularities and noise. The Sony A7S mark lll goes one step further. The A7S mark lll allows you to film in 4K at 120 fps and, not to be missed, 4:2:2 10-bit internal. The 10-bit allows you to record in more than a billion colour tones per pixel.

Silent shutter

The silent shutter allows you to take photos without shutter noise. Ideal when photographing a wedding, wildlife or music performances, and of course in many more situations.

5-axis integrated stabilisation system

This stabilisation is especially ideal when you are filming or taking photos while using a zoom lens or a longer shutter speed. This technology compensates as much as possible for hand movements across 5 axes that you make with the camera. The result is more stable images with less chance of motion blur. This function can be found on both cameras.

Eye autofocus

This function means that the A7S camera automatically focuses on the eyes. An important detail when, for example, you shoot a lot of portraits. Because when you have clear focus on the eyes, your photo gains so much more impact. It is ideal when capturing athletes. When you press the button and have focused on the eyes of your main subject, the camera keeps the eye sharp instead of the focus shifting to a hockey stick passing by.
