4 ways to give your old equipment a new life!
Have you bought a new camera and is the old one now gathering dust in the cupboard? What a waste! Fortunately, there are several ways to give your old equipment a new lease on life. We have listed 4 of them for you.
1: Recycle
Do you have any equipment lying in the cupboard that no longer works properly? Cameras contain parts that can be recycled, so please hand in broken equipment to us as well . Even if you are not buying a new camera, you can hand in your old equipment to us!
2: Trade in
Are you tired of your equipment and is it time for something new? But does your old gear still shoot perfect pictures? Then trade in your old gear and make someone else happy with it! In addition to the trade-in value you receive, you can often take advantage of ongoing promotions and discounts.
3: Donate
Photography is an expensive hobby and, unfortunately, not within everyone's reach. How wonderful would it be to make someone with the same passion happy with equipment you no longer use? Ask around in your circle of friends, at the local community center, at a primary school, or at a photography school. They might be able to make good use of your old gear.
4: Upcycle
Let your creativity flow and make something fun out of your old camera! For instance, you can turn a broken lens into a small plant pot or old negatives into a tealight holder. Do you have a beautiful old (analog) camera? Hang it on a hook with a frame around it, and you'll have a real work of art hanging on the wall!
