Canon EF 400mm F/5.6 L USM

The Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 L USM is one of the super telephoto lenses in Canon's L series. Focusing is handled by USM technology, fast and accurate. Thanks to the two UC lens elements, chromatic aberration is kept to a minimum. Like all L lenses, it comes with a (built-in) lens hood, caps and a case, and this lens is also dust and splash resistant.

Because this lens has no IS, you may need to switch to a tripod sooner in low light to get the best results. As a fixed focal length, this lens scores better on sharpness and contrast than most zoom lenses in this range. Unfortunately, using an extender is not possible with this lens.
