The Hasselblad XCD 90mm f/2.5 is a medium telephoto lens, perfect for close-up portraits or still life. The focal length, together with the large f/2.5 aperture, creates a beautiful bokeh effect that accentuates your subject.

Thanks to its compact optical design, small and lightweight focusing module and optimised aperture blades, the Hasselblad XCD 90mm f/2.5 weighs just 551 grams, yet delivers top performance.

Precision optics, superlative images

The XCD 90mm f/2.5 lens features 9 elements in 6 groups, including one ED element and one custom-built, large-diameter aspherical lens element. Thanks to the carefully devised configuration, not only is the lens compact, but light transmission is improved and chromatic aberration is better suppressed.

New Focusing Module: Fast, Light and Accurate

The revamped focusing module utilises a linear stepper motor and a lighter, faster lens group. These improvements ensure the lens group has no more play and, in combination with the PDAF technology of the Hasselblad X2D 100c, that the lens group can quickly reach the focus position. Leaving you to enjoy fast, flexible and highly accurate focusing.

Smaller shutter, powerful and professional assistance

The shutter comprises a powerful element of Hasselblad's medium format system. The XCD 90mm f/2.5 features an improved shutter that, despite being smaller, delivers the same precision as its predecessors. Enjoy shutter speeds of up to 1/2000s and flash sync at all speeds.

Nifty, intuitive operation

The XCD 90mm f/2.5 is precision engineered to provide the best experience and minimise distractions. The tactile mechanism of the focus and control rings are precision-tuned for a smooth, sophisticated experience. Toggle with ease between AF and MF modes with the focus ring's simple push-and-pull mechanism, plus, the control ring can be adjusted for quick access to your preferred functions. Making the process even more efficient.
