The Hoya 82mm X1 is a green filter primarily used for black-and-white photography and is highly effective for portraits under artificial light, thanks to its favourable effect on red tones. It is also ideal for scenes where distinguishing green tones is important, such as landscapes. This colour filter can also be used with colour film to produce special colour effects. To prevent ghosting and reflections, each glass surface features three layers of anti-reflection coating. These coatings therefore offer better protection and help keep the filter clean for longer. This Hoya 82mm X1 colour filter is made from optical glass for optimum clarity, and features an aluminium alloy filter ring, making it both durable and lightweight.
