This film has an exceptionally wide exposure latitude and delivers outstanding results, including sharply defined highlights and shadows, even in unpredictable lighting conditions or high-contrast scenes where the brightness of the subject can vary considerably.

The XP2 SUPER also offers improved negative contrast for optimal black-and-white print quality, making it an excellent choice for scanning and enlarging.

The film's greatest advantage, however, is that although it is a true black-and-white film, it can be processed using C41 chemicals, just like colour negative films. This makes it the ideal choice for photographers who want to shoot on film while still enjoying the convenience of having it developed at a photo lab.

The XP2 SUPER is also particularly versatile in that you can shoot on the same roll at varying ISO sensitivity values, from 50 to 800, and have it processed as a standard C41 film.
