The Irix Cine Lens 15mm T2.6 for Canon EF (metric) is an ultra-wide-angle 8K-ready cine lens. The combination of high light transmission (T2.6) with the ability to use filters makes this product ideally suited to a variety of lighting conditions.
The lens is made with optics of the highest quality. The entire structure consists of 15 elements arranged in 11 groups (3 HR lenses, 2 ED lenses and 2 ASPs). The precise construction of the lens ensures incredible optical properties and image sharpness, vivid colours and an almost complete absence of distortions, which is an extremely rare feature of lenses of this width.
The lens aperture consists of 9 rounded blades, which ensure pleasing background blur and smooth T-value adjustment from T2.6 to T22. Moreover, lens breathing is kept to a minimum. The Irix Cine 15mm T2.6 is equipped with a 180-degree ring that allows accurate rotation and precise and silent focusing.
An innovative solution used in all Irix Cine lenses is the adaptive ring, which contributes to the overall ergonomics of the lens; both when manually sharpening and when using follow-focus mechanisms. The Irix Cine 15 mm is also small and lightweight. All Irix Cine lenses have approximate dimensions and weight, allowing quick and hassle-free set-up changes without having to overhaul the rest of the film set. The lens is equipped with a magnetic mounting system (MMS), which allows connecting accessories, such as a lens hood (included in the set).

The lens is sealed in 4 key places, allowing you to work regardless of weather conditions, rain, sand and dust. Engraved markings on the lens are filled with paint that reacts to UV light, making filming in difficult lighting conditions much easier. In addition, the lens allows the use of filters, making working in bright environments much easier.
Designed in line with the standards of the professional film industry, the Irix Cine 15mm is the result of traditional and modern solutions. The Irix Cine 15mm has a front filter size of 95mm and Mod 0.8 rings, which ensure compatibility with most accessories on the market.
