The Laowa Ranger S35 17-50mm T2.9 cine lens (PL/EF) is only 117mm long and weighs approximately 850 grams, is suitable for Super35 sensors and is ideal for gimbal, drone and handheld use. In combination with the separately available zoom lenses of 11-18mm and 50-130mm, the three lenses offer an extended total range of 11-130mm. Zoom features include 0.8 MOD cine gears for focus, aperture and zoom rings, focus marks in both feet and metres and a 77mm filter thread on the front.

The Laowa Ranger S35 zoom series includes a native ARRI PL mount that can be swapped with separately sold interchangeable Canon RF, Fuji X, Nikon Z, Sony E, and L mounts for use with select cameras.

This 17-50mm zoom maintains a maximum aperture of T2.9 throughout the entire zoom range, ensuring optimal exposure even in challenging lighting conditions. Excellent optical performance ensures consistently sharp, high-contrast images with accurate colour reproduction.

This parfocal lens maintains precise focus even while zooming, so the subject remains pin-sharp and perfectly sharp whether you zoom in or out. With a short focusing distance of 35 cm, this zoom lens excels at capturing intricate details and small subjects.
