Lume Cube 2.0 Portable Lighting Kit PLUS+
The Lume Cube 2.0 Portable Lighting Kit PLUS+ is a bundle consisting of the Lume Cube 2.0 Light, a light-stand adapter and a range of accessories. With this kit you have everything you need to get the right exposure for your photos or videos.
The Lume Cube 2.0 Light is the successor to the original 1.0 and works as an external light source for your smartphone, digital camera, action cam or drone. The Lume Cube can be used as continuous light or as a flash. With a light output of 1500 lumens, you can light your subjects perfectly. Of course, you can also dim the brightness for a more subtle exposure when the situation calls for it. The beam angle is 80 degrees, with no hot spots and a nice fade towards the edges. With a color temperature of 5600K and a CRI of 95+, you get a nicely neutral light.
With the included filters, you can easily adjust the temperature and color. With the CTO Warming Gels you lower the color temperature, creating a warmer light. Looking for a specific color? No problem. A set of red, blue, green and yellow Color Gels is included. With the Flat White Diffusers, a weak and a strong version, you get beautifully diffused light. With the Honeycomb Grids and Diffusion Bulb, you can also make the light beam narrower or wider. Finally, you create a spotlight with the Snoot and a rectangular light with the barn doors.
When you use the Lume Cube as a flash, it has a variable duration from 1/8000 to freeze motion up to 1 second for more exposure. The light has a built-in optical sensor, so you can use the Lume Cube as a slave flash in combination with separate system flashes.
The Lume Cube 2.0 is waterproof to a depth of 9 meters. You charge the built-in battery via the USB-C connection. On a full battery, the Lume Cube 2.0 lasts 40 minutes at full power. Thanks to Bluetooth, you control the light remotely in the app, available for iPhone and Android.
Thanks to the hot shoe mount adapter and light-stand adapter, you can easily attach the Lume Cube on top of your DSLR camera. The hot shoe adapter has a 3/8" thread, onto which you attach the light-stand adapter. On top of the adapter you will find a 1/4" screw on which the light can be mounted.
