OM SYSTEM MC 2.0 Teleconverter
The OM SYSTEM MC 2.0 Teleconverter is a powerful teleconverter designed for use with OM SYSTEM and Olympus M.Zuiko PRO lenses. It allows you to extend the focal length of your lens by up to 2x, giving photographers an incredibly long reach for distant subjects. This teleconverter is an excellent choice for nature and wildlife photography, where the distance to your subject is often considerable.
The MC-20 is designed to preserve the optical quality of the lens as much as possible. Its high-quality optical construction consists of 9 elements in 4 groups. The teleconverter results in a light loss of two f-stops. However, this enables a very high magnification and an extremely shallow depth of field, which is an advantage in, for example, macro photography.
Like the M.Zuiko PRO lenses, the MC-20 is built to last. Its weather-resistant construction is dustproof, splashproof, and freeze-proof (down to -10°C), ensuring reliable performance even in demanding conditions. In addition, the lens features a fluorine coating on the front and rear elements to repel dirt and water.
