The new UX series consists of the standard AG-UX90 and the premium AG-UX180. The UX series is the successor to Panasonic's AVCCAM series of professional AVCHD camcorders. It was designed to make the move up to 4K easier for professional video production.
The Panasonic AG-UX90 4K Video camera features the ultimate Leica Dicomar lens. This lens is known for minimising shading and flare to the absolute maximum. The AG-UX90 also has a lot to offer in terms of quality when it comes to Optical Image Stabilizer (O.I.S.) and the intelligent AF function. The AG-UX90 is extremely well suited for professional camera work.
Panasonic has equipped the AG-UX90 with intuitive controls. Examples are the three manual rings and the user button, but also the interfaces, such as 3G-SDI / HDMI and the XLR input. The UX series was designed to meet the needs of professional video recording. The AG-UX90 supports 4K 24p, UHD 60p / 50p and FHD 60p / 50p recording, as well as HD multi-format super slow-motion. It has two SD memory card slots for relay or simultaneous recording and backup recording, for greater reliability. The AG-UX90 also supports UHD / FHD dual codec recording for a more efficient workflow.
The 4-drive lens system delivers high image quality and sensitivity, and is extremely compact. With a 24.5mm wide angle and a 15x optical zoom lens, it zooms in and out at lightning speed.
