The Pentax Spotting Scope PF-85EDA is perfect for nature observation, especially bird watching. Pentax spotting scopes offer a large field of view with precise details and high-contrast colours. ED glass optical elements effectively reduce chromatic aberrations for a bright, clear field of view. The latest multi-coat technology reduces annoying reflections. The combination of a full multilayer coating on all optical elements and a phase coating on the roof prism ensures reliable, high-quality observations.
Thanks to the US standard 31.7mm connector, you can connect different eyepieces. So you choose the right eyepiece for every application. The PF-85EDA Kit version comes with the SMC PENTAX Zoom eyepiece 8-24mm. The eyepiece offers a variable image range with magnification between 20x and 60x, corresponding to a field of view of 33m to 17m at 1000m. As the eyepiece port is tilted 45-degrees upwards, you can easily adjust the eye level for greater user comfort.
The Pentax Spotting Scope PF-85EDA has a weatherproof construction, so you can use it with confidence during adverse weather conditions. The inside of the spotting scope is filled with nitrogen gas to prevent the lenses from fogging up.
