The Profoto ProHead Plus UV 500W is a reliable flash head that pairs well with the power of your generator. The Profoto ProHead Plus UV 500W is compatible with a range of generators, including the Pro-B2, Pro-B3, Pro-B4, Pro7a, Pro-7s, Pro-8a, and D4 series powerpacks. The head is lightweight, compact, and consistent in its performance.

The Profoto ProHead Plus UV 500W supports a flash output of up to 4800Ws (with a D4) and features a 500W modelling lamp. The modelling lamp output is sufficient to provide light for video purposes. The flash tube has a long lifespan and is highly stable — even when firing at lower power levels. The Profoto Plus head is compatible with a wide range of light shapers and features a zoom function.

The head is internally cooled. The flash tube or protective glass cover can be replaced with ease. The glass shield of the Profoto ProHead Plus 500W is made from extra-thick UV-reducing glass. The ProHead Plus flash comes supplied with the versatile Profoto Zoom Reflector and features a reliable connection cable with a length of four metres. The tripod adapter is fitted with a fixed screw and an additional opening.
