The Sigma 35mm T1.5 FF F/VE Cine FF High Speed Prime FF Sony-E Metric is part of Sigma's High Speed Prime lens line, featuring the acclaimed optical designs from their Global Vision lens initiative. This lens offers a resolution of 6–8K and a fast maximum aperture of T1.5 in a compact and lightweight design. Focus markings are indicated in metres. Thanks to the Sony E mount, this lens is compatible with Sony cinema and mirrorless cameras. The electronic contacts in the mount provide lens data communication between the lens and the camera.

Like the other lenses in Sigma's High Speed Prime line, this 35mm lens shares the same physical diameter, while the focus and aperture rings are identical across the entire lens line, complete with gear rings. The included support foot can also be attached at the same position on all lenses, meaning you won't need to reposition your lens support after swapping lenses. All High Speed Prime lenses also share the same 95mm diameter. These consistent physical characteristics across the entire lens line make mounting lens accessories such as matte boxes, follow focus systems, lens supports, and lens control motors easier and less time-consuming. For filter mounting without a matte box, this lens also features an 82mm filter thread to accept readily available screw-on filters.
