The Sirui VHS18 Professional Fluid Video Head features fluid friction and a 10-step counterweight system, supporting loads from 1.5 to 18 kg. 7+0 damping adjustment and professional pan and tilt control are perfect for creating high-quality productions.

Nearly all professional tripods are designed with a counterweight system to accommodate cameras of different weights. The VHS18's 10-step counterweight allows the camera to be stopped at any position, regardless of camera size, up to a maximum of 18 kg.

The counterweight adjustment is not stepless, so adding or removing accessories may upset the balance. 7+0 steps damping adjustment of panning and tilting can help balance equipment with different weights while shooting. The head has 360-degree panning and -65 - +90-degree tilting.

Instead of the traditional insert method, side loading is designed on VHS18 head, which means you can easily and quickly insert both light and heavy equipment from ééone side. After side loading, there is a 30 mm back and forth range for adjustment, ideally suited for telephoto lens shots.
