The SmallRig 3666B Baseplate for Sony Alpha 7 IV aims to enhance the grip experience and enable tripod and handheld shooting, while protecting the underside of the camera. It attaches to the bottom of the camera via a 1/4"-20 screw and positioning pin, with built-in silicone pad to prevent scratching and twisting.

There is a spindle key at the battery cover that fits the camera's curvature and leaves room for a little finger for comfortable grip; embedded selected genuine leather in the base plate integrates with the camera body. 1/4"-20 threaded holes and cold shoes at the bottom support mini tripods and microphones. In addition, the Arca-compatible base plate allows quick changes between tripod, stabiliser (DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro) and handheld shooting. A built-in magnetic key facilitates disassembly and assembly.
