The SmallRig 5462 Wireless Remote Controller for Action Cameras and Mobile Phones is designed for popular action cameras and smartphones, enabling remote shooting over greater distances — perfect for self-portraits, group photos, and similar situations.

This versatile remote offers extensive control over action cameras, including power on/off, sleep mode activation, and start/stop recording functions (specific functions may vary by brand). You can also switch between shooting modes such as taking photos, recording video, and timelapse photography (mode switching implementation may vary by brand). The remote is compatible with leading action cameras, including the DJI Osmo Action series, Insta360 360° (panoramic) cameras, the Ace series, and GoPro models.

The remote's functionality is also available for smartphones from major brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, and vivo (specific models are supported). Please note that the mode switch button (M) does not work with smartphones; this must be operated manually on the device itself.

For added security while filming, the included wrist strap prevents the remote from accidentally dropping.
