The SmallRig 5591 Half Cage for Sony FX2 is designed for seamless accessory expansion and quick workflow transitions. An Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom allows quick transitions between handheld, tripod and gimbal setups (compatible with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilisers).

The removable top plate features a NATO rail, suitable for Sony's XLR handle or SmallRig's rotating handle (ID 4152) without interfering with the electronic viewfinder. With precise cutouts, this cage ensures that the camera's tilting electronic viewfinder, buttons and ports remain fully accessible.

With multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 screw holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI mounting holes and a "HawkLock" NATO rail, this cage allows quick attachment of accessories such as side handles (SmallRig ID 4485) and top handles (SmallRig ID 4483). A coldshoe attachment allows attachment of devices such as the DJI Mic 2 or LED lights, while a bottom QD connector allows space for shoulder straps for extra portability.

The lower quick-release plate, combined with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick-release plate (SmallRig ID 4486), allows quick mounting with an automatic locking mechanism. In addition, the base is equipped with a magnetic hex key for quick assembly and disassembly.
