The SmallRig 5623 Cage for Canon EOS R5 Mark II with Battery Grip BG-R20 is expertly designed to protect your camera whilst offering versatile expansion options. It attaches securely via a 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and two M3 screws on the sides, with integrated silicone pads to prevent scratches. The cage provides unobstructed access to buttons, card slots, and battery compartments.

Equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, as well as ARRI 3/8"-16 mounting holes, this cage accommodates a wide range of optional accessories — including top handles (SmallRig ID 4757, 3765) for smooth camera movements, side handles (SmallRig ID 4015, 4346), monitor mounts (SmallRig ID 2903B, 2904B), and magic arms (SmallRig ID 3873). Three cold shoe mounts allow you to attach separately available microphones (SmallRig ID 3487) and LED lights (SmallRig ID 4660).

The base features an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate for compatibility with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro stabilisers, enabling swift transitions between handheld, stabiliser, and tripod setups. A 1/4"-20 mounting hole at the front is compatible with the single rod clamp (SmallRig ID 3276), allowing a 15mm rod and supporting accessories such as a follow focus to be attached.

In addition, the cage features a strap slot for wrist straps (SmallRig ID 3848, 2456) and a QD connector for shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 4118B). A built-in dual wrench at the bottom ensures effortless mounting and dismounting.
