SmallRig 5656 Cage for Canon EOS C50
The SmallRig 5656 Cage for Canon EOS C50 offers comprehensive protection and versatile expansion options for your camera. This fully enclosing cage is specially designed to protect the camera body against impacts, giving you peace of mind to focus on your creativity. The modular design makes it easy to remove the NATO rail, making it compatible with Canon's original XLR handle, which allows for flexible configurations across a variety of shooting scenarios. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp keeps cable connections firmly in place, preventing accidental disconnection and ensuring uninterrupted data transfer.
The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and mounting holes for attaching optional accessories such as side handles (SmallRig ID 5532) or Magic Arms (SmallRig ID 5308, 4900), as well as 3/8"-16 ARRI mounting holes for attaching monitor brackets (SmallRig ID 2903B) or top handles (SmallRig ID 5252, 3765). Integrated cold shoe mounts allow you to attach microphones (compatible with DJI MIC 2) or lights (SmallRig ID 4660), while the bottom QD connector supports QD shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 4118B). In addition, the built-in strap slots accommodate wrist straps (SmallRig ID 3848) or shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 4882, 5208). Thanks to these versatile mounting options, a single camera can effortlessly accommodate multiple accessories, making it ideal for customisable professional setups.
The base features a built-in Arca-Swiss quick-release plate, enabling direct mounting on Arca-type tripods (SmallRig ID 5290, 4222B) or DJI gimbals (RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 4 Mini) for quick installation. A magnetic dual key is included for fast attachment and removal.
