The SmallRig 5709 Shading Hood for Fujifilm X half (charcoal silver) is designed to protect your camera lens from stray light that can affect image quality. It attaches securely to the front of the lens with a thumbscrew, and all contact points feature protective pads to prevent scratches.

Once fitted, the lens hood effectively blocks backlight, sidelight, and light from above, resulting in sharper images with less flare. The aluminium alloy construction provides durable protection against bumps and scratches during shooting.

The silver and charcoal version features a black interior finish to eliminate light reflections that cause glare. This lens hood is fully compatible with optional UV filters (SmallRig ID 5214, 5393) and VND filters (ND2–ND5) (SmallRig ID 5225, 5391) from SmallRig, designed for the Fujifilm X half camera.
