SmallRig 5823 Cage Kit for Sony FX3 / FX30
The SmallRig 5823 Cage Kit for Sony FX3 / FX30 is a compact, portable power solution that delivers professional V-mount battery power whilst maintaining a streamlined, stable, and lightweight setup. The foldable battery mounting plate is designed for portability, making it easy to transport and set up wherever you're filming.
This comprehensive kit includes a cage, NATO rail, V-mount battery mounting plate, LCD screen protector, elastic Velcro fastening, handle, and HDMI cable clamp. The modular NATO rail on top is compatible with the optional SmallRig NATO handle (SmallRig ID 3766) and monitor mount (SmallRig ID 2906B), but can also be removed for use with Sony's original XLR handle.
The cage features a variety of mounting options, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes and mounting holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI mounting holes, and a NATO rail — supporting the expansion of separately available accessories such as monitor mounts (SmallRig ID 2903B) and side handles (SmallRig ID 5160, 5194).
In addition, a built-in cold shoe mount accommodates optional microphones or lights (SmallRig ID 4660) for added functionality. The base features a QD connector for QD shoulder straps (SmallRig ID 4118B) and comes with a magnetic flat key for easy assembly. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the bottom ensures compatibility with Arca tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, enabling seamless transitions between handheld, gimbal, and tripod configurations.
Finally, the included HDMI cable clamp keeps cable connections firmly secured for stable data transfer, whilst the ergonomic top handle features an anti-slip silicone coating for a comfortable grip, making your shooting experience smoother and more enjoyable.
