The SmallRig 5928 Modular Metal Cage, in the striking Tundra Green colour, is specially designed to provide reliable protection and improved handling of your camera body.

The cage combines an aluminium alloy frame with an integrated TPE handle, for a comfortable, slip-resistant grip that enhances the overall user experience. The sturdy design protects the metal edges of your camera against bumps and wear, while multiple built-in silicone pads minimise the risk of scratches and abrasions during mounting and use. Inspired by the historical role of Hasselblad cameras during humanity's first moon landing, the hot shoe cover is precision-milled with CNC technology, featuring a crater-like texture that matches the camera body's colour exactly, for a uniform visual style.

For efficient use, the cage features a quick-open hinge for three-step mounting, while you retain full access to all of the camera's data ports. On the bottom is an Arca-type quick-release plate, and the cage includes an integrated, hidden compartment for placing an AirTag, so you can easily track it; this offers both protection and expansion possibilities for professional workflows. Please note: this product is not compatible with the original Hasselblad shoulder strap interface.
