The SmallRig 6031 Advanced "Rhinoceros" Cage Kit for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV is expertly designed to reduce fatigue and improve stability during handheld shooting, while also offering extensive expansion options. The kit includes a "Rhinoceros" cage, a "Rhinoceros" top handle, a "Rhinoceros" side handle, and an HDMI cable clamp. The cage and handles are made from carbon fibre, making them exceptionally light and portable – ideal for extended handheld use.

The cage features a three-point locking system, consisting of a positioning pin on the bottom, a 1/4"-20 screw, and an M2.5 screw on the left side, ensuring a secure and stable mount without flex. The slim, streamlined design guarantees unobstructed access to all top-panel controls for seamless operation. The top handle provides a comfortable grip, enabling easy transport, low-angle manoeuvring, and smooth camera movements. The side handle combines a carbon fibre frame with a tactile leather covering, delivering lightweight, comfortable, and stable two-handed operation.

With multiple mounting points – including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 positioning holes, cold shoe mounts, a NATO rail, and a QD socket – the cage makes it straightforward to attach handles, microphones (compatible with DJI Mic 2), lights, monitors, and other accessories.

The integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate on the bottom enables seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals).

In addition, a hinged flap at the battery compartment provides extra grip for the little finger, while the included HDMI cable clamp securely holds the cable in place for reliable data transfer.
