SmallRig 6316 Support Kit for Vertical Shooting
The SmallRig Support Kit for Vertical Shooting is designed for monitor mounting, handheld camera movement and tripod mounting during vertical filming. You attach the monitor via a retractable 1/4"-20 locating screw, providing a stable, torsion-resistant mount. Once installed, you adjust the tilt angle steplessly with one hand.
The side handle has an ergonomic grip design and a rotation mechanism you activate with one push, for a comfortable grip and smoother camera movements. On top sits a cold shoe mount and a 1/4"-20 locating hole for attaching accessories such as a microphone or magic arm. Both the side handle and the monitor mount use a NATO clamp for quick installation on accessories with a NATO rail.
You attach the included mounting plate with two 1/4"-20 screws for stable vertical filming with full access to your memory cards. Two included cable clamps keep cables such as HDMI and dummy battery cables neatly organized and prevent strain on the connections. You mount the included NATO rails on accessories with a 1/4"-20 screw hole for wider compatibility. Thanks to the adjustable height and damping, the monitor mount is suitable for most monitors up to 7 inches.
Please note: always use this kit in combination with a cage, preferably a SmallRig cage. Before purchasing, check whether your cage has the required mounting connections for the best vertical shooting setup.
