The SWIT KA-M20S hotswap V-mount plate for dual pocket batteries is an expansion plate for SWIT Pocket V-mount batteries. With two PB-M batteries, which match the size of a standard high-capacity V-mount battery, the KA-M20S can use the two batteries one at a time (hot swap mode) or together (high load mode).

Two power modes: Hot swap mode and high load mode

When the power consumption of the device is lower than the maximum output of one PB-M battery (150W), the KA-M20S switches to "Hot swap mode" — where the two batteries are used one at a time and the free battery can be swapped out at any moment.

When the power consumption of the device is higher than the maximum output of one PB-M battery (150W), the KA-M20S switches to "High load mode" — where both batteries are used simultaneously and neither battery can be removed.

Hot swap mode and high load mode switch automatically between the two modes depending on the current power consumption of the device.

Power/Hot Swap indicators

Both batteries have a separate power indicator. The flashing of the top power LED indicates that this battery is discharging. The flashing of the EMPTY LED means that this battery is empty and needs to be replaced.

2 D-tap power outputs

On the top and right side of the KA-M20S plate there are 2 D-tap connectors for flexible connection to a variety of cameras.
