The Swit S-1173FS 17-inch FHD Studio Monitor features a 17.3-inch IPS (In-Plane Switching) LCD panel, Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and LED backlighting, 700:1 contrast for accurate colour reproduction. The viewing angle is horizontal: 160° / vertical: 160°.

The S-1173FS supports video analysis axis patterns, including: waveform (Y/Pb/Pr/R/G/B), vector scope, histogram (R/G/B/Y), to convert digital video quality information (Luma, Colour, Saturation, etc.) into patterns, and the patterns can be individually enabled/disabled, select display position (up/down/left/right), size, colour and translucency.

The S-1173FS supports playback of SDI-16ch and HDMI-8ch built-in audiometers, with markings and abnormal audio warning information. Users can also select any 2-channel audio for output via a 3.5mm jack or speakers. The position of the audiometer pattern can be selected from Up/Down/Left/Right, and you can choose to display only 2 channels, 8 channels and full 16 channels. Scale marks, warning information and transparency of the audiometer pattern are also selectable.

Also, the S-1173FS supports UMD and Text-Tally display of the TSL 3.1/4.0 protocol, with 1-126 TSL address selection and up to 8 letters displayed. UMD is input via the RS485 or RS232C port and output via the RS485 port.

Supports 17x17x17 3DLUT accurate colour calibration. Use a professional colour analyser (e.g. KONICA MINOLTA CA310) and 3DLUT calibration software (e.g. SpectralCal CalMAN5) to measure and generate a 3DLUT cube file to upload to the monitor via USB stick.

The monitor also has built-in camera logs for Rec 709 conversion LUTs, including Log-C, C-log, S-log2, S-log3, V-log, J-log1, RedLogFilm. You can import your own 3DLUTs for monitoring via a USB stick. The S-1173F supports:
