The Tamron 16-30mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 is an ultra-wide-angle lens with a wide zoom range for both photographers and videographers. The lens is a true all-rounder, perfect for modern content creators.

The Tamron 16-30mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 completes Tamron's ‘Daisangen’ f/2.8 G2 Trinity line. The flexibility of the zoom range and the ultra-wide-angle perspective make the lens extremely versatile. With just one lens, you can capture landscapes or architecture, for example, but also get started with portraits. The lens builds on its predecessor with improved image quality, a wider zoom range, and more extensive capabilities.

The autofocus is powered by a precise and fast linear VXD motor. Focusing is fast, accurate, and quiet.

The optical construction consists of 16 lens elements. XLD, LD, and GM lens elements ensure high resolution and beautiful bokeh across the entire range.

The lens design is compact and lightweight. Thanks to a moisture-resistant construction with fluorine coating, you can also use the lens outdoors with confidence. Improved ergonomics with a smoother zoom and focus ring ensure a pleasant photography experience. With the Tamron Lens Utility Software, you can customize the lens to your photography style with programmable buttons and firmware updates.
