The Ulanzi DT580 80Gbps M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure is an aluminium housing for M.2 NVMe SSDs with Thunderbolt 5 connection, transfer speeds up to 80 Gbps and magnetic mounting, compatible with Windows and macOS.

Ulanzi DT580 80Gbps M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure

The DT580 is equipped with the Intel JHL9480 chip and offers transfer speeds of up to 80 Gbps via Thunderbolt 5. This means a 6 GB file can be transferred in just one second. The enclosure supports the Single-Protocol NVMe format and is backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 4 and USB4.

The multi-layered cooling system keeps the enclosure cool both inside and out, reduces energy consumption, and prevents speed throttling caused by overheating. The enclosure is made from aluminium alloy and weighs just 92 grams, with dimensions of 11 x 4 x 2.3 cm.

The SSD is installed by opening the enclosure with a screwdriver, inserting the SSD into the slot, applying the thermal silicone pad, and closing the enclosure again. The DT580 supports M.2 2280 SSDs with M-Key or B&M-Key and is compatible with Windows and macOS. Maximum theoretical capacity: 8 TB.
