The Wimberley AP-604 Replacement Foot - Canon 400 2.8 IS (I & II) and 600 4.0 IS (I & II) is an Arca-type compatible, black anodised 6061 aluminium foot with a double dovetail mount for accessories that can be attached to both the top and bottom of the foot. Compared to the base originally supplied with the lens, the lower profile of this lightweight and durable replacement base provides better balance when mounted on a tripod head. The lower profile also reduces flexing and vibration during use. Furthermore, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 connectors are provided for tripod heads that do not have a compatible Arca-type clamp. Dual safety stops are included to prevent the lens from accidentally shifting when a clamp is partially open.
