The Zoom L-6max LiveTrak is packed with features you'd expect from a full-size mixer, plus a multitrack recorder. It's compact, battery-powered, and ready to be the centrepiece of your live show, rehearsal, or podcast. Whether you're a full band, an acoustic duo, or a solo artist, the L-6max is up to the task. With 4 combo inputs (2 of which are Hi-Z) and 8 line inputs, the 12 channels offer the flexibility you need for any session.
Two headphone outputs with one adjustable Sub-Out mix let you monitor exactly what you need, wherever you are on stage. Channels 5–8 feature a -20 dB PAD switch, so you can handle loud sources such as vintage synths and Eurorack modules — no attenuator required.
The high-contrast OLED display helps you create projects and adjust settings with ease. Record up to 12 individual tracks plus a stereo mix directly to SD cards of up to 2 TB. Projects can be saved and recalled at any time for mixing.
You can mix and bounce tracks to a dedicated bounce track, freeing up additional channels to add layers. If the bounce doesn't work out, simply undo it and try again. Even after a bounce, individual files are saved to the SD card for future mixing.
Enable AI noise reduction and let the L-6max intelligently remove hum, noise, and background sound, while preserving every detail of your vocals and instruments.
For thunderous drums and loud guitar solos, the L-6max records clip-free audio in 32-bit float. Channels 1–4 feature dual AD converters, keeping microphone signals clean even under extreme dynamics. Dial in the perfect tone with LOW, HIGH, and MID EQ on every channel. Create the perfect mix with built-in effects including Reverb, Delay, and Echo. Use the TAP button to set delay times.
The master track compressor adds punch and saturation to your mix. Thanks to 32-bit float, audio will never clip, even at high volumes. The L-6max can be used as a 32-bit float 12-in/4-out USB audio interface for your computer, iOS, or Android device, while simultaneously recording to the microSD card. It also functions as a control interface for your favourite DAW.
Flexible routing with AUX sends. Two AUX sends with pre-/post-fader options for FX loops and monitor feeds. Save up to four mixes and recall them at any time with a single button. Sound Pads with MIDI sync. Trigger jingles, sound effects, or samples on demand. Sound Pads can even sync to a MIDI clock for live electronic performances.
Connect external synthesisers and groove boxes, or integrate with MIDI apps on your computer and mobile devices. With the free L-6 Editor app for Mac and Windows, you can easily customise pads, effects, and MIDI assignments. Power the L-6max via AA batteries, USB power, or a portable battery pack.
