The Pentax K-1 Mark II Body is a 35mm full-frame digital SLR camera, the successor to the Pentax K-1. The K-1 Mark II was developed to be the new flagship of the Pentax K series. In addition to excellent image quality, this model offers excellent imaging performance and much better operability to meet a wider range of subjects and scenes. By connecting a new, built-in accelerator to the Prime IV image processing engine, it provides flawless operation at high speed and excellent noise reduction, improving image quality and super-sensitive image performance. The Pentax developed Pixel Shift Resolution System - the latest super-resolution technology designed to optimize the image performance of the image sensor - has been upgraded to the Pixel Shift Resolution System II.
This system features a newly developed Dynamic Pixel Shift Resolution mode, which allows the photographer to take photos with very high sensitivity when shooting from the hand, by detecting the small fluctuations of the position of the subject during continuous shooting. In addition to the conventional shooting style with a tripod, this innovative mode offers a new option for the photographer to enjoy photography with extremely high sensitivity with a wider range of subjects and scenes. The camera is also equipped with numerous features and functions designed to optimize the creativity and ease of use of the photographer, including a reliable magnesium alloy housing with a dust-proof, weatherproof construction; an optical viewfinder with a field of view of almost 100 percent, an advanced motion reduction system and a flexible, tiltable LCD monitor for different shooting angles.
The Pentax HD D-FA 28-105mm F3.5-5.6 ED DC WR is an allround standard zoom lens specifically designed for the Pentax full-frame cameras. This lens is compact, lightweight and has a focal length from wide angle to medium telephoto. The lens is completely weather resistant and offers excellent image quality. The lens is treated with a high-quality multi-layer coating. Compared with conventional multi-layer coatings, this by Pentax-developed coating ensures better light transmission and less reflection. This ensures that the lens captures clear images with high contrast, no glare and shadows - even under demanding lighting conditions such as backlighting.
The lens has a water-repellent construction, with eight sealed parts so that no dirt and moisture from can enter the inside of the lens. SP coating (Super Protect) onto the anterior lens surface effectively repels water and grease. The Quick Shift system ensures that you can quickly switch between auto and manual focus, also after you focused on the AF system of the camera.
