The Benro Geared Head Arca-Swiss is a hybrid geared head for photographers who require precise composition, such as in architecture, product and studio photography. It combines the speed of a ball head with the precision of brass gears.

Benro Geared Head Arca-Swiss

The Benro Geared Head Arca-Swiss is a three-way geared head with a hybrid design that combines the speed of a ball head with the precision of a geared head. The integrated inverted ball head is used for quick coarse adjustments. Once the camera is positioned approximately where you want it, the two geared axes take over for fine adjustments. The gears are made of brass for long service life and smooth, precise operation without play. The tilt range via the geared axes is 8° forward and backward and 15° side to side. The panoramic function offers a full 360° rotation with a readable degree scale for repeatable positioning, ideal for panoramic photography and multi-shot compositions.

The 90° vertical slot enables shooting without repositioning the tripod, saving time in product photography and other applications. The clamp and plate are Arca-Swiss compatible, and the base features a 3/8"-16 thread with an enlarged platform for mounting on larger tripods, sliders or rigs. With a weight of 740 grams and a payload capacity of 6 kg, the Benro Geared Head Arca-Swiss is suitable for a wide range of camera and lens combinations.
