Blackmagic ATEM Microphone Converter
With the Blackmagic ATEM Microphone Converter, you can expand your ATEM Television Studio's audio inputs in no time. The converter includes 4 analogue XLR/TRS inputs, so both XLR and jack cables can be connected. You simply connect the ATEM Microphone Converter to the ATEM Television Studio MADI port, no additional, complicated set-ups are required.
The design features amazing audio quality with an extremely low -129dBV noise floor, wide dynamic range and very low distortion. The design uses 8 separate ADCs on each individual input. This means that the dynamic range of each input channel is an incredible 131dB(A). Moreover, you get very low distortion of just 0.002%.
In addition to the XLR/TRS inputs, the converter features a MADI output for the converted audio and a MADI input. You can connect a second converter to this. The upstream converter then stacks its 4 channels on top of the 4 channels of the downstream converter. Thus creating up to 64 audio channels! In addition, the converter has a 12V DC power connection, USB-C and Ethernet for remote management and software updates. The HDMI video monitoring output allows you to connect a TV or computer monitor for a full status display.
