The Blackmagic DeckLink IP 100G is a high-performance PCIe Generation 4 capture and playback card designed for professional broadcast environments with SMPTE 2110 IP network systems. Designed to meet the changing demands of modern live and post-production workflows, it supports up to eight simultaneous UHD video channels via two 100G Ethernet QSFP28 ports, enabling full redundancy. GPU Direct RDMA support ensures extremely low latency by enabling direct memory transfer to GPUs, which is particularly valuable in real-time graphics rendering, AI processing and live compositing applications. Built for various broadcast infrastructures, the card is compatible with macOS, Windows and Linux systems, while remaining universally compatible with all major video software, including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer and more.
In addition to performance, the DeckLink IP 100G emphasises flexibility and security. It supports a wide range of video formats, both compressed and uncompressed, up to DCI 4K120 with 10-bit 4:4:4 colours. Geïntegrated support for SMPTE 2110 standards enables full transport of uncompressed video, audio and ancillary data over managed IP networks with Precision Time Protocol (PTP) synchronisation. It also acts as a hardware-level firewall by isolating video transmission to frame buffers, providing protection against rogue Software and unauthorised network access.
