Want to hold your Canon EOS R8 Mark II more comfortably, especially with larger hands or heavier telephoto lenses? The Canon Extension Grip EG-E2 is specially designed for the EOS R8 Mark II. It extends the bottom of the camera body for extra support and a firmer grip.

Thanks to the extra height at the bottom of the camera, your little finger gets a stable resting spot. This significantly reduces the strain on your hand during long photo sessions, weddings or active video productions.

You attach the grip easily with a simple thumbscrew directly to the base of the camera. You don't need to remove the battery door to do this; you simply replace the battery and SD card while the grip stays attached.

On the bottom is a centred 1/4"-20 threaded connection, letting you mount the camera directly onto a tripod without needing to remove the grip. The EG-E2 also supports the optional Hand Strap E2 (sold separately), for extra grip and security while holding your camera. The finish closely matches the camera body of the EOS R8 Mark II body.
