Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000
The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 is a professional photographic inkjet printer, designed to give you large-format prints with exceptional image quality. The design of the printer features the red line you know from Canon's L-series lenses. This printer uses the excellent FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) technology and has a print head that is 50% larger than previous printers. The printer also comes with an 11-colour LUCIA PRO pigment-based ink set and Chroma Optimizer to create prints with fine detail and a wide, accurate colour spectrum. The PRO-1000 also offers the largest print size in the imagePROGRAF line, up to 43.2 cm wide. The printer can print borderless up to 43.2 x 55.9 cm, and can also work with thick 27.6 mil fine art media.
Equipped with the L-COA PRO Image Processing Engine, the PRO-1000 can determine print paths and patterns quickly and accurately, so it works fast and efficiently. This makes it possible to print 43.2x55.9cm bordered photos in just 4 minutes and 10 seconds, while a two-way vacuum feeder keeps the media flat and feeds it quickly and accurately. To extend the capabilities of the LUCIA PRO ink set, it offers four monochrome inks that reduce bronzing, increase black density and extend the dynamic range in the shadows for excellent greyscale prints. In addition, the Chroma Optimizer cartridge improves colour consistency on coated paper and reduces differences in ink droplet height for a smooth ink layer and less metamerism.
A 3-inch colour LCD screen on the front of the device lets you adjust the settings. You can also connect to this device via a USB 2.0 port, Ethernet and WiFi connectivity. Wireless printing enhances the overall capabilities of the printer by adding compatibility through Canon's PRINT app and PIXMA Cloud Link. The mobile app is available for iOS and Android devices and lets you transfer images and files quickly and monitor the printer settings. PIXMA Cloud Link gives you access to Google Cloud Print for printing documents directly from cloud-based servers.
Please note! Click here for the firmware update for the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000. By updating the firmware, you can print panoramic images in landscape format. The new 21cm x 59.4cm format is equal to half of A2 and is perfect for printing panoramic images, borderless printing is also possible!
